Story
Ness has never been one for fuss, preferring to keep things simple, easy-going and relaxed, and definitely no pomp or gloominess. That's why Ness chose for a "no service cremation". This was organised by Susan at Co-op Funeralcare North Berwick, and took place on Tuesday 30th May 2023. As Ness had asked, no-one was present at that, although the music Ness had chosen (see elsewhere on this site) was played, and a small detail was that it was the same gentleman who had collected Ness from hospital who took care of Ness at the cremation.
Other events - small gatherings of family and friends, probably in our garden - will give us the opportunities to remember Ness. One thing Ness asked for on those occasions is that no-one should wear black, but instead go for colour, fun, vibrant!
